Gluten Free Fried Seafood

Yields4 Servings

 Vegetable Oil for fry pan
 2 tbsp Milk
 1 Egg
 1 cup Kentucky Kernel Gluten Free Seasoned Flour
 1 lb Seafood (shrimp, clams, mussels, scallops, etc)

Preheat 1/2 - 1 inch vegetable oil to 350°F in heavy pan.


In a small bowl, combine milk and egg. In another shallow dish, place Seasoned Flour.


Dip seafood in egg-milk mixture, allow excess to drip off.


Liberally coat each piece with Seasoned Flour.


Fry approximately 3-4 minutes or until golden brown on each side and pieces are cooked through. Drain on paper towels and serve.


Ingredient amounts are approximate. When dredging, start with a layer of Seasoned Flour in the shallow dish and add more as needed. Discard used flour which has come in contact with raw seafood.

If you do not need to make your seafood gluten free, feel free to use classic Kentucky Kernel Seasoned Flour.
